MoviePartners DVD Database

MoviePartners is proud to announce the availability of its DVD database. After 2 years of careful development, we have been working to create a portable and easy-to-use data source of DVDs from all over the world. And now we are offering the same database to you, along with daily and weekly updates under flexible and competitive licensing terms, so that even a smaller business can access and use it.

Database Contents

Our database not only contains basic information about a title, but also more pointed meta-information, such as:

Runtime
Region Code
Number of Discs in Package
Sensible and Standardized Ratings
Sound Encodings
Aspect Ratios
Amazon ASIN Codes (for Affiliate Programs)
Box Art (where available)
UPC and EAN codes
New: DVD Type (Blu-Ray, Standard, HD-DVD, etc.)
Standardized Genres
MSRPs
Disc Volume IDs

Updates

Our main database is updated nightly, but you can also get weekly updates as well. Monthly updates are available on special request. Existing titles also will be updated with new information as it becomes available and as our staff meticulously cleans and prepares it for release.

How Big Is It?

The complete database contains over 150,000 titles in its collection.

Uses

A DVD database can be used for point-of-sale systems, handheld/embedded devices, or even just for the collector at home wanting to keep track of their collection. If you are building a website, it can also be an invaluable source of information.

Sample code in PHP, including sample SQL queries, are provided at no extra cost for customers.

Web Service API

If working with a database is too much work, you can also integrate us using our Web Service API. Our DVD Data Web Service is available for use with XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, REST, and SOAP. Please note that this is a separate license from our regular pricing.
